As awards season continues, the nominees for this year's BAFTA Film Awards have been announced, with more nominations for RADA graduates.

Taron Egerton continues his success with Rocketman, with a nomination for Leading Actor following his win at the Golden Globes and nomination at the Screen Actors Guild Awards for playing Elton John.

Also nominated for Leading Actor is Jonathan Pryce, who is in the running for his performance as the future Pope Francis in The Two Popes. His co-star Anthony Hopkins is nominated for Supporting Actor for his performance as Pope Benedict XVI; both actors also received Golden Globes nominations for the film.

Finally, Jessie Buckley is nominated for Leading Actress for Wild Rose, a performance that previously earned her a nomination at the BIFAs in December. Jessie was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2019, and won a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress for the role last year.

The BAFTA Film Awards will be announced in London on 2 February, and you can see the full list of nominees on the BAFTA website.
