Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees announced

Following the recent Golden Globes nominations, there has been further recognition for RADA graduates as the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominees were announced today.

Cynthia Erivo is again nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance as the title role in Harriet. She also picked up two nominations at the Critics' Choice Awards last week for the role, for her performance as Harriet Tubman and for her work on the original song 'Stand Up'.

Taron Egerton picks up another nomination for playing Elton John in Rocketman - he is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge adds to her countless award nominations for Fleabag as she is in the running for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. The cast of Fleabag are also nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series; as well as Phoebe, the cast includes graduates Sian Clifford as Claire, and Fiona Shaw as Fleabag's counsellor.
