Salary: £25,300 pro rata
Hours: 12 hours per week (2x6 hour shifts)
Contract type: permanent

The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in theatre and preferably a recognised professional or academic qualification in librarianship or relevant experience.

Duties will include: cataloguing using Dewey Decimal classification and Heritage Cirqa Library system software, shelving, organisation of new titles, up-keep of resources and circulation control. You will be assisting and advising students in their research, sourcing study materials, dealing with public enquiries and requests from external readers and staff. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also essential.

You will sometimes be responsible for opening and closing the library at start and end of shift, working on your own with minimal supervision and reporting to the Library Manager.

Shifts will be flexible but would usually be 1pm-7pm or 9am–3pm, Weds, Thurs or Friday. There will be the possibility of extra shifts throughout the week.
