John Tucker

John Tucker is an Associate Voice Tutor at RADA. He has taught on various courses including BA (Hons) in Acting and Short Courses. He trained as a speech and voice teacher at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and as a classical singer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. John is also a Voice Tutor at the British American Drama Academy.

John’s teaching covers all vocal disciplines including voice technique and practice, speech, accents and text work, all explored through the physicality of the voice.

John runs a private voice studio based in London. As professional voice coach, John’s credits including the Bush Theatre, English Touring Theatre, Gate Theatre, Headlong Theatre, National Theatre and the Old Vic. John recently coached on Industry for HBO/BBC. John was appointed Voice Associate at HighTide coaching every production between 2007 and 2012.

John's business clients include The Actors Center New York, Al Jazeera English Doha, The British Council, Christie’s Auction House, Facebook and individuals such as Richard Coles and Shami Chakrabarti.
