RADA graduate Andrea Riseborough has been nominated for an Oscar for her leading role in indie drama, To Leslie. The nomination for Best Actress marks her first Oscar nomination for her performance as an alcoholic one-time lottery winner in West Texas. Andrea Riseborough’s performance was also nominated for Best Lead Performance at the Independent Spirit Awards 2023.

Previously, Andrea has been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance, the BAFTA Rising Star Award, three British Independent Film Award (for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Breakthrough Performance), a British Academy Television Award for Best Actress, the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Featured Actress, and a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play.

Congratulations to everyone nominated at the 95th Academy Awards. The winners will be announced at the ceremony at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday 12 March.
